Come check out the interactive dancing lights at Town Square Park this holiday season, next to Steveston Museum and Post Office, in the heart of the village.
The colourful string lights installed around the trees are specially programmed to sync to the beat when visitors sing, clap, or play music. A microphone installed on the torii-inspired gate structure in the centre of the park detects sounds and activates the beautiful dancing lights.
Try it out for yourself: sing or clap underneath the gate, and watch the lights come to life!
Visit during the Steveston Historical Society‘s Songs in the Snow events on December 2nd, 9th, and 16th, 2023, from 4 to 6pm, and watch the lights dance to the tunes of local singers and musicians, while enjoying some holiday treats.
