Read more about one of our natural neighbours along the waterfront\, Shady Island. \nOn weekends during Spring Break\, visit the historic shipyards to enjoy activities for all ages\, and explore both indoor and outdoor spaces in this 8-acre heritage site. What can you spy? How do the heritage buildings connect to the river? What more can we learn? DESCRIPTION:Chinese Bunkhouse at Britannia Shipyards\nThe Steveston Folk Guild  returns on Thursday March 20\, 2025\, with Little Mountain Trio\, featuring Kitty King (bass)\, Dave Lidstone (guitar) and Rob McGregor (mandolin). Alongside music from a wide variety of styles including bluegrass\, country\, folk and jazz\, enjoy original songs by Kitty and instrumental tunes by Rob to complete the repertoire. Veterans of the Vancouver music scene\, the band has performed all over the province\, in venues ranging from small clubs to big festivals. \nStarts at 7.30pm (doors open at 7.00pm) \n$15 at the door
