SUMMARY:Steveston Folk Guild - Ask the Wind
DESCRIPTION:Chinese Bunkhouse 7.30pm (doors open at 7.00 pm) $15 at the door \n“Ask The Wind” is a dynamic folk trio with Maya on fiddle\, Daniel on guitar and vocals\, and Atlin on piano and vocals. They are rooted in folk\, country\, Celtic and jazz\, drawing inspiration from larger-than- life stories and lived in experiences. The trio represets an incredible blend of influences\, with Maya’s Celtic fiddle background in Vancouver\, Daniel’s guitar playing with its Prairie origins\, combined with Atlin’s classical training. This translates into music evoking nostalgia\, excitement\, heartbreak and joy; a musical road trip.
