Britannia Shipyards National Historic Site invites you to explore the grounds and discover the animals\, plants\, and boats that call the Fraser River\, home. \nLocated along the Fraser River estuary\, this heritage site not only honours Steveston’s past and celebrates maritime culture\, it also highlights the connections to its natural surroundings. Read more about one of our natural neighbours along the waterfront\, Shady Island. \nOn weekends during Spring Break\, visit the historic shipyards to enjoy activities for all ages\, and explore both indoor and outdoor spaces in this 8-acre heritage site. What can you spy? How do the heritage buildings connect to the river? What more can we learn? Cultivate your curiosity around nature and its relationship to this West Coast fishing community of the past and present. \n  \nFridays to Sundays 10am to 4pm \nMarch 14-16 \nMarch 21-23 \nMarch 28-30  \nYour adventure begins in the Seine Net Loft \nAdmission is free!
