DESCRIPTION:Discover what went into the three-year restoration project of Tram Car 1220\, through stories and displays about the hard work of the volunteers\, conservators\, curators and other professionals who dedicated hundreds of hours to the project. \nNow\, visitors can explore one of the last surviving trams in BC\, and see what it may have looked like over 100 years ago. Don’t miss the chance to have a rare\, behind-the-scenes look at the artefact restoration process. \nDrop-in during Doors Open Richmond\, on Saturday\, June 3rd from 10am to 4pm\, or Sunday\, June 4th from 11am to 4pm to participate in activities for all ages and to learn about the restoration process. Admission is free.

SUMMARY:Doors Open at Britannia Shipyards
DESCRIPTION:See the historic MV Burnaby tugboat\, now beautifully restored and on display inside the shipyard building. Learn about the boat cradle restoration project during Doors Open\, this weekend on June 3rd and 4th from 11:00am to 3:00pm. Have a rare chance to go behind-the-scenes and talk with the team that helped make this project happen. Come have a closer look at archival images and original pieces of this shipyard. \nChildren will also have an opportunity to explore the shipyard with a scavenger hunt designed for 6-12 year olds. Just ask a friendly heritage interpreter to participate.
