Read more about one of our natural neighbours along the waterfront\, Shady Island. \nOn weekends during Spring Break\, visit the historic shipyards to enjoy activities for all ages\, and explore both indoor and outdoor spaces in this 8-acre heritage site. What can you spy? How do the heritage buildings connect to the river? What more can we learn? Head over to the Steveston Tram Museum\, where young visitors can take on the role of “Junior Conductor” and travel back into Richmond’s transportation past. Find our friendly “Tram Conductor” staff\, and ask for a new activity sheet for fun ways to explore the museum. \nEach day\, join in on the “Hamm on the Tram” hunt\, and look for Hamm the Pig\, the Tram’s mischievous mascot\, who will pop up in a different spot around the site. It’s the perfect way for families to explore the museum together. Receive a commemorative bookmark to record each visit\, and with new hiding locations to discover each day\, you’ll want to return again and again! \nCome discover the fun\, history\, and surprises awaiting you this Spring Break at the Steveston Tram. \nHours: Tuesdays to Sundays 10am to 4pm \nAdmission: Free \n  \n
