SUMMARY:Winter Tram
DESCRIPTION:The Steveston Tram has once again transformed into the Winter Tram for the festive season – climb aboard and explore the history of interurban travel in Richmond. Don’t miss the junior tram conductor dress-up station and strike a pose with the historic tram\, all decked-out for the holidays! Open December 1 to 31 (closed Mondays and stat holidays) 12 to 4pm. Admission is free. \nJoin us for storytime hosted by the Richmond Public Library for “The Polar Express” on December 2 (Sat) and 10 (Sun) – reading times at 2\, 2:40 & 3:20pm. Free admission with limited seating\, first-come first-served\, and suitable for ages 4-9. \nFind transportation and holiday themed books to read in the cozy reading nook\, available during open hours Tues-Sunday 12-4pm. \nEnjoy a winter-themed scavenger hunt with holiday items throughout the Tram building\, including a prize of a tram tree ornament for children to take home and decorate. \nAnd don’t miss a special LEGO recreation of Richmond heritage buildings by Peter Grant.
