Don’t miss the Japanese Benevolent Society Building connected to the museum, and discover the history and contributions of Steveston’s Japanese Canadian community. At the nearby Steveston Tram, explore the stories of interurban transportation in Richmond and climb aboard the beautifully restored 111-year old tram which once took passengers between Steveston to Marpole.

Stop #5 at Britannia Shipyards National Historic Site will take you to the 8-acre outdoor heritage site, once a bustling centre for fishing, canning and boatbuilding at the turn of the century. Friendly heritage interpreters will share the stories about the diverse communities who lived and worked in Steveston.
