Richmond Maritime Festival returns on August 22 and 23, 2026 to Britannia Shipyards National Historic Site. This is a unique event that celebrates Richmond’s maritime heritage and community. The annual festival will feature performers, local artists, boats, crafts, live music, food trucks, and more!
Volunteers are an important part of the success and enjoyment of this festival. We are currently seeking to fill volunteer positions including Greeters, Information Centre, Volunteer Centre, Dock Safety, Floater, Children’s Crafts and Activities, Artist Assistance and many more.
As a volunteer, you will receive volunteer privileges, food, and a chance to make new friends and connect with the community.
To volunteer for this event, please attend ONE orientation session on either July 24 or 25 and ONE training session on either August 14 or 15.
