Celebrate Family Day weekend at Britannia Shipyards National Historic Site, Saturday to Monday February 14 to 16, 2026. Drop in to the Chinese Bunkhouse from 11am to 4pm and join free family-friendly activities themed around the Lunar New Year, which falls on February 17 this year.

Make your own Lunar New Year decoration, learn about the animal zodiac, and join a search and find game around the historic site, suitable for all ages.

Winter hours for heritage buildings – open Fridays to Sundays 10am to 4pm (open on Family Day Monday). Admission is free.
