Discover new ways of teaching through unique and enriching learning experiences offered by Richmond's museums and heritage sites.

Join us on Friday, October 24, 2025, at the historic London Farm in Steveston for an immersive and enriching Pro-D workshop:

  • Tour the London Farm park grounds and farmhouse while sampling activities from the field trip program for Grades K-3.
  • Use critical thinking strategies through object-based investigations to explore field trips and education kits offered by the Richmond Museum and Britannia Shipyards National Historic Site
  • Discover how the Richmond Archives can support your teaching goals through online resources such as archival photographs and documents.

You will leave the workshop feeling more knowledgeable about field trips, education kits and learning tools offered by your local community, and inspired by enriching online
resources that you can use in your classroom right away.

Location: London Farm, 6511 Dyke Rd, Richmond BC
Time: 9:30am to 2:45pm
Cost: $50 per person. Includes morning refreshments, lunch, and a chance to win a free field trip!
